🍽️ Crispy Bratwursts with Oven Potatoes and Spiced Sauerkraut from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 2 pieces pan-fried sausages
- 300 g potatoes, washed and cut into wedges
- 200 g sauerkraut
- 1 piece onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- Fresh parsley for garnishing
Instructions
- 1. Cut the potatoes into wedges.
- 2. Place the potato wedges in a large bowl.
- 3. Add one tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- 4. Season with paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
- 5. Mix everything well until the potatoes are evenly coated.
- 6. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket.
- 7. Spread them out evenly in the basket.
- 8. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 9. Cook the potatoes for 20 minutes.
- 10. Turn the potatoes once halfway through the cooking time.
- 11. Prick the bratwursts lightly with a fork.
- 12. Rub the bratwursts with the remaining oil.
- 13. Place the bratwursts in the air fryer.
- 14. Cook the bratwursts at 180 °C for 12 to 15 minutes.
- 15. Turn the bratwursts once halfway through the cooking time.
- 16. Fry the chopped onion in some oil in a pan.
- 17. Fry the onion until it is translucent.
- 18. Add the sauerkraut to the onion.
- 19. Season the sauerkraut with cumin.
- 20. Simmer the sauerkraut for 5 minutes over medium heat.
- 21. Place the bratwursts on the plates.
- 22. Add the crispy potatoes.
- 23. Add the warm sauerkraut.
- 24. Garnish the dish with fresh parsley if desired.
