🍽️ Crispy Avocado Fries from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 1 piece avocado
- 50 g almond flour or breadcrumbs
- 1 piece egg
- 30 g parmesan
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- cooking spray or some olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
- 2. Carefully cut the flesh into even strips.
- 3. Place the avocado pieces on a plate and set aside.
- 4. Whisk the egg in a shallow bowl.
- 5. In a second bowl, mix the almond flour, parmesan, paprika powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- 6. Dip an avocado slice completely into the whisked egg.
- 7. Turn the egg-coated slice in the flour mixture until it is covered all over.
- 8. Repeat this process for all avocado strips.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 10. Place the breaded avocado strips in a single layer in the cooking basket.
- 11. Lightly spray the fries with cooking spray or olive oil.
- 12. Cook the avocado fries for 8 to 10 minutes at 180 °C.
- 13. Turn the fries halfway through the cooking time so they become crispy evenly.
- 14. Remove the golden brown avocado sticks from the air fryer.
- 15. Serve the fries immediately with your favorite dip, such as salsa, aioli, or yogurt dip.
