  2. 2. Cut the potatoes into wedge-shaped pieces.
  3. 3. Place the potato wedges into a pot.
  4. 4. Pour 1.5 liters of water over the potatoes.
  5. 5. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the water.
  6. 6. Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the water.
  7. 7. Bring the water to a boil.
  8. 8. Reduce the heat so the water simmers gently.
  9. 9. Cook the potatoes in the water for 8 minutes.
  10. 10. Drain the cooking water.
  11. 11. Place the potato wedges into a bowl.
  12. 12. Place a lid on the bowl.
  13. 13. Add the spice mixture to the potatoes.
  14. 14. Stir the potatoes to coat them with the spices.
  15. 15. Shake the covered bowl vigorously to distribute the spices.
  16. 16. Take out the basket from the air fryer.
  17. 17. Drizzle some oil onto the basket.
  18. 18. Brush the oil evenly across the basket.
  19. 19. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
  20. 20. Place the seasoned potato wedges into the preheated basket.
  21. 21. Cook the potatoes for 18 to 25 minutes at 180 °C until crispy.
  22. 22. Shake the basket once after the first 10 minutes.
