🍽️ Extra crispy potato wedges from the air fryer

Ingredients
- 600 g firm-cooking potatoes
- 1 tsp olive oil (for the air fryer basket)
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1-2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes if you prefer not to eat the skin.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into wedge-shaped pieces.
- 3. Place the potato wedges into a pot.
- 4. Pour 1.5 liters of water over the potatoes.
- 5. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the water.
- 6. Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the water.
- 7. Bring the water to a boil.
- 8. Reduce the heat so the water simmers gently.
- 9. Cook the potatoes in the water for 8 minutes.
- 10. Drain the cooking water.
- 11. Place the potato wedges into a bowl.
- 12. Place a lid on the bowl.
- 13. Add the spice mixture to the potatoes.
- 14. Stir the potatoes to coat them with the spices.
- 15. Shake the covered bowl vigorously to distribute the spices.
- 16. Take out the basket from the air fryer.
- 17. Drizzle some oil onto the basket.
- 18. Brush the oil evenly across the basket.
- 19. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 20. Place the seasoned potato wedges into the preheated basket.
- 21. Cook the potatoes for 18 to 25 minutes at 180 °C until crispy.
- 22. Shake the basket once after the first 10 minutes.
