🍽️ Juicy Meatloaf from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 100 g tomato paste
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1.5 tsp spice mix "Sunday Roast" (Frau Poppes*)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp spice "Elbe Sand" (Frau Poppes*)
- 500 g mixed minced meat
- 1 bag spice mix "Cevapcici" (Frau Poppes*)
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion (finely diced)
- 1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp of the prepared glaze
- 30 g Gouda cheese cubes
Instructions
- 1. Whisk tomato paste, red wine vinegar, 'Sonntagsbraten' spice mix, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and 'Elbsand' spice in a small bowl until a smooth sauce forms.
- 2. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
- 3. Soak the 'Cevapcici' spice mix in 120 ml of water and let it swell for 8 minutes.
- 4. Add the soaked spices, ground meat, egg, finely chopped onion, and pressed garlic to a large bowl.
- 5. Take 2 tablespoons of the prepared glaze sauce and knead it thoroughly into the rest of the ground meat until everything is evenly mixed.
- 6. Shape the meat mixture into a compact loaf.
- 7. Distribute the cheese cubes evenly inside the loaf.
- 8. Seal the ground meat tightly around the cheese so nothing can escape.
- 9. Place the meatloaf in the air fryer and cook it for about 23 to 25 minutes at 190 °C.
- 10. Cover the loaf with a little aluminum foil if the top becomes too dark.
- 11. Brush the cooked meatloaf with the remaining glaze sauce.
- 12. Bake the loaf for another 6 to 8 minutes in the air fryer until a crispy crust forms.
- 13. Sprinkle the meatloaf with a pinch of 'Sonntagsbraten' spice before serving.
