  1. 1. Shred the cooked chicken meat into small fibers using two forks.
  2. 2. Season the shredded meat evenly with salt and black pepper.
  3. 3. Finely chop the onions and chili and fry them in a little oil.
  4. 4. Continue frying the vegetables until the onions are soft and translucent.
  5. 5. Add the beans and the seasoned chicken meat to the pan.
  6. 6. Stir the taco sauce into the mixture.
  7. 7. Heat the filling while stirring constantly until it is warm.
  8. 8. Spread the chicken and bean mixture onto the tortillas.
  9. 9. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over the filling.
  10. 10. Roll the tortillas tightly together to form the taquitos.
  11. 11. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
  12. 12. Carefully place the taquitos into the basket of the air fryer.
  13. 13. Brush the taquitos thinly with neutral vegetable oil.
  14. 14. Cook the taquitos at 190 °C for 4 to 5 minutes until they are crispy.
  15. 15. Open the lid of the air fryer briefly.
  16. 16. Sprinkle additional grated cheddar cheese on the taquitos as desired.
  17. 17. Close the lid and cook the taquitos at 190 °C for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  18. 18. Check in between to ensure the taquitos do not become too dark.
