  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the sweet potatoes under running water.
  2. 2. Poke the skin of the sweet potatoes several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
  3. 3. Coat the sweet potatoes all over with olive oil.
  4. 4. Place the sweet potatoes into the basket of the air fryer.
  5. 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and cook the sweet potatoes for 40 to 45 minutes on the Air Fry setting.
  6. 6. Test for doneness by inserting a wooden skewer into the center of the sweet potato to check if it is soft.
  7. 7. Extend the cooking time by a few minutes if the sweet potatoes are not yet soft enough.
  8. 8. Slice the warm sweet potatoes lengthwise and gently pull them apart.
  9. 9. Season the sweet potatoes to taste with salt.
  10. 10. Serve the sweet potatoes with yogurt and fresh parsley.
  11. 11. Add some chili to taste if you prefer it spicy.
