🍽️ Crispy Asparagus Cordon Bleu Sticks from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 12 stalks white asparagus (approx. 400 g)
- 4 slices cooking ham
- 4 slices Gouda
- 1 egg
- 40 g wheat flour
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- vegetable oil
Instructions
- 1. Peel the asparagus and cut off the woody ends. Boil them for five minutes in salted water.
- 2. Take a slice of cooked ham, place a slice of cheese on it, and wrap 3 asparagus spears in it. Secure the asparagus cordon bleu with a toothpick. Repeat the process three more times.
- 3. Bread the asparagus cordon bleu: Roll them in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
- 4. Place the asparagus cordon bleu in the cooking basket. Spray them with oil. Bake them for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
