  1. 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks about 1 cm thick.
  2. 2. Rinse the cut potato sticks under cold water to remove excess starch.
  3. 3. Bring 2.5 liters of water with 4 tablespoons of vinegar to a boil in a pot.
  4. 4. Add the potato sticks to the boiling water and blanch them (cook briefly in boiling water) for 4 minutes.
  5. 5. Drain the water and pat the fries completely dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  6. 6. Place the dry fries in a bowl and mix them thoroughly with the oil.
  7. 7. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
  8. 8. Place the oiled fries into the basket of the air fryer.
  9. 9. Cook the fries for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 °C until crispy.
  10. 10. Shake the basket well every 10 minutes to ensure the fries cook evenly.
  11. 11. Season the finished fries with salt and paprika powder after baking.
