🍽️ Crispy Schnitzel from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 400 g chicken schnitzel (or pork)
- 40 g wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 40 g butter
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the schnitzel under cold water.
- 2. Pat the meat slices completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Season both sides of the schnitzel generously with salt and pepper.
- 4. Prepare three shallow bowls.
- 5. Fill the first bowl with flour.
- 6. Loosely beat the eggs in a second bowl with a fork.
- 7. Put the breadcrumbs into the third bowl.
- 8. Dip one schnitzel first into the bowl with flour.
- 9. Shake off excess flour.
- 10. Now dip the schnitzel into the beaten eggs.
- 11. Let the excess egg drip off.
- 12. Then roll the schnitzel in the breadcrumbs.
- 13. Press the breading on slightly so it sticks.
- 14. Repeat this process for all remaining schnitzel.
- 15. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
- 16. Brush the breaded schnitzel with the melted butter.
- 17. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 18. Place the prepared schnitzel in the basket of the air fryer.
- 19. Cook the schnitzel for 12 minutes at 200 °C.
- 20. Turn the schnitzel after 6 minutes.
- 21. Remove the finished schnitzel from the air fryer.
