  1. 1. Rinse the schnitzel under cold water.
  2. 2. Pat the meat slices completely dry with kitchen paper.
  3. 3. Season both sides of the schnitzel generously with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Prepare three shallow bowls.
  5. 5. Fill the first bowl with flour.
  6. 6. Loosely beat the eggs in a second bowl with a fork.
  7. 7. Put the breadcrumbs into the third bowl.
  8. 8. Dip one schnitzel first into the bowl with flour.
  9. 9. Shake off excess flour.
  10. 10. Now dip the schnitzel into the beaten eggs.
  11. 11. Let the excess egg drip off.
  12. 12. Then roll the schnitzel in the breadcrumbs.
  13. 13. Press the breading on slightly so it sticks.
  14. 14. Repeat this process for all remaining schnitzel.
  15. 15. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  16. 16. Brush the breaded schnitzel with the melted butter.
  17. 17. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
  18. 18. Place the prepared schnitzel in the basket of the air fryer.
  19. 19. Cook the schnitzel for 12 minutes at 200 °C.
  20. 20. Turn the schnitzel after 6 minutes.
  21. 21. Remove the finished schnitzel from the air fryer.
