🍽️ Quick Franzbrötchen from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 50 g butter (soft)
- 50 g sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon (level)
Instructions
- 1. Mix the butter with the cinnamon and the sugar in a small bowl until you have a homogeneous mixture.
- 2. Roll out the puff pastry flat.
- 3. Spread the prepared cinnamon-sugar-butter mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough surface.
- 4. Roll the dough up from one short edge towards the other short edge, creating a long dough roll.
- 5. Cut the dough roll into eight equally thick slices.
- 6. Take a wooden stick and press it firmly into the center of each dough slice to create the typical Franzbrötchen shape.
- 7. Place a piece of baking paper in the basket of the air fryer.
- 8. Place four of the eight prepared Franzbrötchen on the baking paper.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer to 160 °C and bake the Franzbrötchen for 17 to 19 minutes until golden brown.
- 10. Remove the baked Franzbrötchen and repeat the process with the remaining four pieces.
