  1. 1. Put flour, quark (a type of fresh cheese), vanilla sugar, eggs, and baking powder into a bowl.
  2. 2. Knead the ingredients by hand until you have a sticky dough.
  3. 3. Lightly dust your hands with flour so the dough does not stick.
  4. 4. Shape small, round balls from the dough.
  5. 5. Place the dough balls into silicone muffin cups.
  6. 6. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
  7. 7. Place the silicone cups into the basket of the air fryer.
  8. 8. Cook the balls for 6 minutes at 180 °C.
  9. 9. Carefully remove the cups.
  10. 10. Turn the quark balls over using a spoon.
  11. 11. Place the cups back into the air fryer.
  12. 12. Bake the balls for another 4 minutes at 180 °C.
  13. 13. Take the finished quark balls out of the silicone cups.
  14. 14. Melt some butter in a small dish.
  15. 15. Brush the warm quark balls with the melted butter.
  16. 16. Roll the brushed balls in sugar or erythritol.
