🍽️ Crispy Quark Balls from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 250 g wheat flour
- 250 g quark
- 2 packets vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet baking powder
- 50 g butter
- 50 g sugar (or erythritol)
Instructions
- 1. Put flour, quark (a type of fresh cheese), vanilla sugar, eggs, and baking powder into a bowl.
- 2. Knead the ingredients by hand until you have a sticky dough.
- 3. Lightly dust your hands with flour so the dough does not stick.
- 4. Shape small, round balls from the dough.
- 5. Place the dough balls into silicone muffin cups.
- 6. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 7. Place the silicone cups into the basket of the air fryer.
- 8. Cook the balls for 6 minutes at 180 °C.
- 9. Carefully remove the cups.
- 10. Turn the quark balls over using a spoon.
- 11. Place the cups back into the air fryer.
- 12. Bake the balls for another 4 minutes at 180 °C.
- 13. Take the finished quark balls out of the silicone cups.
- 14. Melt some butter in a small dish.
- 15. Brush the warm quark balls with the melted butter.
- 16. Roll the brushed balls in sugar or erythritol.
