  1. 1. Carefully separate the eggs. Place the egg yolks in one bowl and the egg whites in another.
  2. 2. Beat the egg whites with a mixer or whisk until they are stiff and hold their shape.
  3. 3. Add the egg yolks, butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar to the bowl with the egg yolks.
  4. 4. Mix these ingredients with the mixer until the mixture is fluffy and light.
  5. 5. Stir the quark (curd cheese) and semolina into the fluffy egg yolk mixture.
  6. 6. Gently fold the stiffly beaten egg whites into the batter using a spoon to keep the air bubbles intact.
  7. 7. Wash the blueberries and pat them dry thoroughly.
  8. 8. Gently mix the blueberries into the quark batter.
  9. 9. Grease a small, ovenproof baking dish with a little butter or oil.
  10. 10. Pour the quark batter into the prepared dish.
  11. 11. Preheat the air fryer to 150 °C.
  12. 12. Place the baking dish into the air fryer basket.
  13. 13. Bake the casserole for 25 minutes on the Airfry setting until it is golden brown and firm.
