🍽️ Crispy Chicken Schnitzel with Tomato and Mozzarella from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 400 g chicken schnitzel
- 4 tomatoes
- 200 g mozzarella
- 8 tsp basil pesto
- salt
- pepper
- basil (fresh as garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken schnitzels in half if they are too thick, so they lie flat. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- 2. Slice the tomatoes and the mozzarella into even slices.
- 3. Spread one teaspoon of pesto on each chicken schnitzel. Then place one slice of tomato and one slice of mozzarella on top.
- 4. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C. Place the topped schnitzels in the cooking basket and cook them for 10 minutes until crispy. Garnish the finished dish with fresh basil.
