  2. 2. Place the minced meat, onion cubes, breadcrumbs, egg, mustard, and salt into a large bowl.
  3. 3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly by hand until you have a uniform mixture.
  4. 4. Shape the mixture into a small loaf that fits loosely into the cooking basket of your air fryer.
  5. 5. Wrap the meatloaf tightly with the bacon slices.
  6. 6. Place the wrapped loaf into the air fryer basket.
  7. 7. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and place the meatloaf inside for 20 to 25 minutes.
  8. 8. Carefully turn the meatloaf over to ensure the bacon becomes crispy on all sides.
  9. 9. Cook the loaf for another 20 to 25 minutes at 180 °C.
  10. 10. Check the core temperature with a meat thermometer: it should reach 70 to 72 °C.
  11. 11. If you do not have a thermometer, cut into the center: the meat must be fully cooked and no longer pink.
  12. 12. Let the meatloaf rest briefly before slicing it.
