  2. 2. Drain the pasta and place it in a baking or silicone dish that fits inside your air fryer.
  3. 3. Peel the onion and the garlic.
  4. 4. Dice the onion and garlic into very small cubes.
  5. 5. Mix the diced onion and garlic with the ground beef, salt, and herbs in a bowl.
  6. 6. Shape the meat mixture into small, uniform meatballs.
  7. 7. Place the finished meatballs directly on top of the layer of pasta in the dish.
  8. 8. Whisk all the sauce ingredients together well in a separate bowl.
  9. 9. Pour the finished sauce evenly over the meatballs and pasta.
  10. 10. Distribute the mozzarella cheese evenly over the surface of the sauce.
  11. 11. Preheat the air fryer to 170 °C and switch it to the Air Fry setting.
  12. 12. Cook the casserole in the air fryer for 30 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown and bubbling.
