  1. 1. Mix the olive oil with salt and paprika powder in a small bowl.
  2. 2. Brush the whole chicken generously all over with the oil mixture.
  3. 3. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
  4. 4. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket.
  5. 5. Cook the chicken for 30 minutes at 180 °C.
  6. 6. Brush the chicken again with the remaining oil mixture.
  7. 7. Lower the temperature to 165 °C and cook the chicken for another 20 minutes.
  8. 8. Carefully turn the chicken over.
  9. 9. Cook the underside for 10 minutes at 180 °C.
  10. 10. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes in the turned-off appliance.
  11. 11. Cut the chicken into pieces using poultry shears and serve.
