Ingredients
- 14 dates (pitted)
- 50 g cream cheese
- 100 g bacon (7 slices)
- 14 toothpicks
Instructions
- 1. Carefully slice the dates lengthwise, but only halfway through, so they open up like a small pocket.
- 2. Fill the opening with cream cheese. Use a small spoon or a piping bag for neat results.
- 3. Press the date back together so the filling stays inside.
- 4. Cut the bacon strips in half to create smaller pieces.
- 5. Wrap one bacon piece around each filled date.
- 6. Secure the bacon with a toothpick so it does not slip off during cooking.
- 7. Place the prepared dates into the cooking basket of the air fryer.
- 8. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and cook the dates for 10 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
