  1. 1. Wash the mushrooms and slice them.
  2. 2. Peel the onion and slice it as well.
  3. 3. Place the mushroom and onion slices into a heatproof dish that fits inside your air fryer.
  4. 4. Season the vegetables with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
  5. 5. Add a splash of olive oil and stir everything well to coat the vegetables.
  6. 6. Distribute the cream cheese portions and the cream evenly over the vegetables.
  7. 7. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
  8. 8. Cook the mushroom mixture for 10 minutes at 180 °C.
  9. 9. Remove the dish briefly and stir the mixture once.
  10. 10. Place the dish back in the air fryer and cook the sauce for another 10 minutes at 180 °C until it is creamy.
  11. 11. Cook the pasta in a pot of salted water al dente (firm to the bite), as indicated on the package.
  12. 12. Add the drained pasta directly into the hot mushroom sauce.
  13. 13. Stir the pasta well with the sauce so that it is completely covered.
  14. 14. Finely chop fresh chives.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the finished pasta with the chives and serve immediately.
