🍽️ Crispy Cauliflower Florets from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 600 g cauliflower
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs
- salt
- pepper
- oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the cauliflower thoroughly.
- 2. Break the cauliflower into small, bite-sized florets.
- 3. Bring a pot of water with some salt to a boil.
- 4. Add the cauliflower florets to the boiling water.
- 5. Boil the florets for 5 minutes (this is called blanching).
- 6. Drain the water and rinse the florets with cold water to cool them down.
- 7. Crack two eggs into a shallow bowl.
- 8. Whisk the eggs vigorously with a fork.
- 9. Season the egg with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- 10. Prepare a second bowl with breadcrumbs.
- 11. Dip a cauliflower floret first into the egg mixture.
- 12. Then roll the wet floret in the breadcrumbs.
- 13. Place the breaded floret on a tray.
- 14. Repeat this process with all remaining florets.
- 15. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 16. Place the breaded florets into the air fryer basket.
- 17. Lightly spray the florets with cooking spray or oil.
- 18. Cook the cauliflower florets at 180 °C for 15 minutes.
- 19. Shake the basket after 10 minutes to ensure everything becomes evenly crispy.
- 20. Remove the florets when they are golden brown and crispy.
