  1. 1. Add the sugar and yeast to the lukewarm milk and stir until everything has dissolved.
  2. 2. Knead the yeast milk with the flour, a pinch of salt, the butter, and the egg to form a smooth dough.
  3. 3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. 4. Divide the dough into 10 equal parts (approx. 90 grams each) and form round balls.
  5. 5. Place the dough balls on baking paper and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Preheat the air fryer to 170 °C.
  7. 7. Melt the butter in a small pot or in the microwave.
  8. 8. Place the doughnuts in the air fryer and bake them for 6 minutes at 170 °C.
  9. 9. Remove the doughnuts, turn them over, and brush the top side with the melted butter.
  10. 10. Place the doughnuts back in the fryer and bake them for another 6 minutes at 170 °C.
  11. 11. Remove the finished doughnuts and brush them once more with butter.
  12. 12. Roll the doughnuts immediately in sugar until they are completely covered.
  13. 13. Poke small holes into the side of the doughnuts using a syringe.
  14. 14. Carefully fill the doughnuts with strawberry jam.
