🍽️ Airfryer Döner with the Baking Paper Trick

Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp paprika powder (mild sweet)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 200 g Greek yogurt
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 pinch pepper
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and grate it finely into a large bowl.
- 2. Add the minced meat, the yogurt, and the spices.
- 3. Knead the mixture vigorously with your hands until it is very fine and homogeneous.
- 4. Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions.
- 5. Place one portion between two sheets of baking paper.
- 6. Press the meat patty flat with your hands.
- 7. Roll the patty very thin with a rolling pin.
- 8. Roll the meat together with the baking paper into a tight roll.
- 9. Trim the overhanging ends of the paper with scissors.
- 10. Place the meat rolls side by side in the basket of the air fryer.
- 11. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and cook the döner for 20 minutes.
- 12. Press the garlic clove into a small bowl.
- 13. Mix the garlic with yogurt, salt, and pepper for the sauce.
- 14. Take the meat rolls out of the air fryer.
- 15. Let the hot fat drip off for a moment.
- 16. Carefully remove the baking paper from the meat rolls.
- 17. Break the döner meat into small, bite-sized pieces.
- 18. Serve the meat with salad or in flatbread as you like.
