  2. 2. Season the fillets on both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Place flour on a flat plate.
  4. 4. Beat an egg loosely on a second plate with a fork.
  5. 5. Place breadcrumbs on a third plate.
  6. 6. Roll one fish fillet first in the flour.
  7. 7. Then dip the floured fillet into the beaten egg.
  8. 8. Finally coat the fillet thoroughly in the breadcrumbs.
  9. 9. Repeat the breading process for all remaining fillets.
  10. 10. Brush the breaded fillets lightly with oil on both sides.
  11. 11. Place the fillets side by side in the air fryer basket.
  12. 12. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and bake the fillets for 16 minutes until crispy.
