  1. 1. Put the skimmed quark and the egg into a bowl.
  2. 2. Stir the two ingredients briefly with a fork or spoon.
  3. 3. Add the spelt flour, chia seeds, baking powder, and salt.
  4. 4. Knead everything by hand until you have a smooth and soft dough.
  5. 5. Divide the dough into five equal pieces.
  6. 6. Shape each piece into a small roll or a stick.
  7. 7. Lightly moisten the surface of the rolls with a little water.
  8. 8. Roll the rolls in the seed mixture.
  9. 9. Press the seeds firmly with your hand.
  10. 10. Place the rolls in the basket of the air fryer.
  11. 11. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
  12. 12. Cook the rolls for 18 to 20 minutes.
  13. 13. Turn the rolls once after about 10 minutes.
  14. 14. Preheat the oven to 180 °C with top and bottom heat.
  15. 15. Place the rolls on a baking sheet.
  16. 16. Bake the rolls for approx. 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
