🍽️ Crispy Gyros Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast fillet
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp gyro seasoning
- 8 slices toast bread (or sandwich bread)
- 4 slices sandwich cheese
- 150 g tzatziki
- some coleslaw
- ½ cucumber
- 2 tomatoes
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken meat into thin strips.
- 2. Mix the chicken strips with olive oil and the gyros seasoning until everything is well coated.
- 3. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to let the meat marinate.
- 4. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C and cook the meat in it for approx. 10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- 5. Place the grilled meat and cheese on the bread.
- 6. Close the sandwich maker or contact grill and grill the sandwich until it is golden brown and crispy.
- 7. Slice the cucumber and tomato.
- 8. Fill the finished sandwich with tzatziki, coleslaw, cucumber slices, and tomato slices.
