🍽️ Crispy Whole Chicken from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 1 chicken (approx. 1200 g)
- 20 g melted butter
- 1½ tsp coarse salt
- freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken under cold water and then pat it completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Rub the entire chicken skin thinly with butter.
- 3. Season the chicken generously with salt and black pepper.
- 4. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 5. Place the chicken breast-side down into the basket of the air fryer.
- 6. Cook the chicken for 25 minutes at 180 °C.
- 7. Carefully turn the chicken so that the breast side is now facing up.
- 8. Continue cooking at 180 °C for another 25 minutes.
- 9. Remove the chicken from the air fryer after cooking.
- 10. Let the meat rest for about 10 minutes to allow the juices to distribute.
- 11. Cut the chicken into 6 to 8 portions before serving.
