  2. 2. Heat oil in a pot, add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger, and sauté.
  3. 3. Add mixed vegetables and Biryani spice mix, stir well and sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Add rice and salt, pour water, bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove from heat, let stand for 5 minutes, and then serve.
