🍽️ Vegan Airfryer Lentil Kisses

Ingredients
- 150g red lentils
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 tomato
- 50g oat flakes
- 30g chickpea flour
- 2 EL olive oil
- 1 TL salt
- 1 TL pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the 150 g red lentils in a sieve under cold water and drain them well.
- 2. Dice the onion finely.
- 3. Peel the garlic clove and press it through a press.
- 4. Remove the core and seeds from the bell pepper and dice it finely.
- 5. Dice the tomato finely and remove the core.
- 6. Put the drained lentils in a pot and cover them with 300 ml water.
- 7. Cook the lentils over medium heat for about 15 minutes, until they are soft and have absorbed the water.
- 8. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C until it beeps.
- 9. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pan and sauté the onion cubes for about 3 minutes until translucent.
- 10. Add the minced garlic, bell pepper and tomato and sauté everything for about 5 minutes until soft.
- 11. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cooked lentils, oatmeal, chickpea flour and red lentils.
- 12. Season the mixture with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper and mix well.
- 13. Form the mixture into 8 small, flat kisses with wet hands.
- 14. Place the kisses in the air fryer basket and bake for about 10 minutes at 180 °C, turning them halfway through, until golden brown.
- 15. Serve the lentil kisses immediately when they are golden brown and feel firm.
