  1. 1. Rinse the 150 g red lentils in a sieve under cold water and drain them well.
  2. 2. Dice the onion finely.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic clove and press it through a press.
  4. 4. Remove the core and seeds from the bell pepper and dice it finely.
  5. 5. Dice the tomato finely and remove the core.
  6. 6. Put the drained lentils in a pot and cover them with 300 ml water.
  7. 7. Cook the lentils over medium heat for about 15 minutes, until they are soft and have absorbed the water.
  8. 8. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C until it beeps.
  9. 9. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pan and sauté the onion cubes for about 3 minutes until translucent.
  10. 10. Add the minced garlic, bell pepper and tomato and sauté everything for about 5 minutes until soft.
  11. 11. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cooked lentils, oatmeal, chickpea flour and red lentils.
  12. 12. Season the mixture with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper and mix well.
  13. 13. Form the mixture into 8 small, flat kisses with wet hands.
  14. 14. Place the kisses in the air fryer basket and bake for about 10 minutes at 180 °C, turning them halfway through, until golden brown.
  15. 15. Serve the lentil kisses immediately when they are golden brown and feel firm.
