🍰 Vanilla Bean Custard Cake

Ingredients
- 100 g Butter
- 120 g Sugar
- 120 g Flour
- 4 Stück Eggs
- 250 ml Milk
- 1 Stück Vanilla pod
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish (approx. 20x20 cm) with a little butter and dust it lightly with flour.
- 2. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Mix the seeds with the remaining pulp.
- 3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Stir the sugar into the melted butter.
- 4. Reduce the heat and stir in the flour until a dough forms. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 5. Pour in the hot milk slowly while stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth. Let it cool for a moment.
- 6. Stir in the eggs one by one and finally add the vanilla seeds and pulp.
- 7. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes until the cake is golden brown and slightly risen.
- 8. Let the cake cool in the dish before cutting into it. Serve the dessert warm or at room temperature.
