  2. 2. Grease a shallow baking dish (approx. 20x20 cm) with the butter.
  3. 3. Whisk the eggs and sugar in a large bowl with a whisk for approx. 3 minutes until frothy.
  4. 4. Stir in the flour and vanilla extract.
  5. 5. Gradually mix the milk with the batter until no lumps are visible.
  6. 6. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for approx. 30 minutes until golden brown and risen.
  7. 7. Let the clafoutis cool for 5 minutes, do not turn it out, and sprinkle with icing sugar.
