🍲 Turkish-style Bolognese Quinoa Stew

Ingredients
- 400 g Lean ground beef
- 2 Stk. Onions
- 2 Stk. Carrots
- 4 Stk. Garlic cloves
- 400 g Canned chopped tomatoes
- 150 g Quinoa
- 1 Stk. Beef bouillon cube
- 10 g Sweet paprika powder
- 6 g Salt
- 3 g Parsley (dried)
- 15 ml Olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Cook the quinoa in 300 ml of salted water (approx. 15 minutes). Drain and let it cool down.
- 2. Wash and peel the onions and carrots. Cut them into fine cubes. Press the garlic through a press.
- 3. Heat the olive oil in a large pot. Fry the ground meat until crumbly and brown (approx. 5 minutes). Remove it.
- 4. Sauté the onions and carrots in the same pot for approx. 5 minutes until soft. Add the garlic and fry it for 1 minute.
- 5. Return the ground meat to the pot. Stir in the paprika powder. Pour in the chopped tomatoes and the bouillon cube dissolved in water. Let the sauce simmer for 15 minutes.
- 6. Mix the bolognese sauce with the cooled quinoa. Season with salt and parsley. Serve warm.
