🍳 Classic Spanish Tortilla

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 150 g Onion
- 5 Stk. Eggs
- 100 ml Olive oil
- 5 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Peel the onion and cut it into fine rings.
- 2. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Fry the potatoes and onions over medium heat for about 20 minutes until soft but not brown.
- 3. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl and season with salt. Drain the oil from the pan and add the potato-onion mixture to the eggs.
- 4. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes so the potatoes absorb the egg.
- 5. Heat the pan with a little oil. Pour in the mixture and fry over medium heat for about 4 minutes until the edges are set.
- 6. Invert the tortilla onto a large plate. Gently slide it back into the pan. Fry the other side for about 3 minutes.
- 7. Remove the tortilla from the pan, place it on a cutting board, and cut it into cubes or triangles.
