🥘 Classic Spanish Potato Tortilla

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 200 g Onions
- 6 Stk. Eggs
- 100 ml Olive oil
- 10 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices or cubes.
- 2. Slice the onions into thin strips.
- 3. Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet (approx. 22 cm diameter) and cook the potatoes and onions over medium heat for about 15 minutes until tender, without browning.
- 4. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl and stir them into the drained potatoes and onions. Season with salt.
- 5. Pour the mixture into the still-hot skillet and flatten it. Cook over low heat for about 4 minutes until the bottom is set.
- 6. Place a large flat plate over the skillet and quickly flip the tortilla so it lands on the plate.
- 7. Slide the tortilla back into the skillet to cook the other side for about 3-4 minutes.
- 8. Turn out the finished tortilla onto a plate and cut into squares or triangles.
