  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Whisk the eggs in a bowl with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Add the halved tomatoes to the pan and fry them for 5 minutes until soft.
  5. 5. Pour the egg mixture over the tomatoes and sprinkle the Parmesan and basil over it.
  6. 6. Cook the frittata on the stove for 3 minutes over medium heat until the edges set.
  7. 7. Place the pan in the oven for 10 minutes until the surface is golden brown and the center is set.
  8. 8. Remove the frittata from the pan, cut it into 4 pieces, and serve warm.
