🍎 Savory Apple Tart with Bacon and Thyme

Ingredients
- 1 Rolle Puff pastry
- 400 g Apples (e.g., Boskoop)
- 150 g Smoked bacon
- 2 Onions
- 2 EL Mustard (medium heat)
- 150 ml Crème Fraîche
- 1 Bund Fresh thyme
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1 EL Butter
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 190 °C (convection).
- 2. Slice apples into thin wedges and dice the onions finely.
- 3. Fry the bacon until crispy and cook onions in bacon fat for 5 minutes until translucent.
- 4. Roll out puff pastry on a baking sheet and brush the edges with mustard.
- 5. Spread apples and onions evenly over the pastry.
- 6. Carefully pour crème fraîche into the center without wetting the edges.
- 7. Sprinkle crispy bacon and thyme leaves on top.
- 8. Dot with remaining butter and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
