🥓 Northern Singers Tart with Leek and Bacon

Ingredients
- 300 g Shortcrust pastry
- 300 g Leek (white and light green parts)
- 6 Stück Anchovy fillets
- 100 g Grated Gruyère cheese
- 150 g Cream cheese (full fat)
- 3 Stück Eggs (Size M)
- 1 TL Dried thyme
- 1 Prise Salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (conventional heat).
- 2. Wash the leek thoroughly and slice it into thin rings.
- 3. Sauté the leek in a pan with a splash of oil for 10 minutes until soft, then drain and let cool.
- 4. Whisk the cream cheese, eggs, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- 5. Line a springform pan (26 cm) with the shortcrust pastry. Prick the bottom multiple times with a fork.
- 6. Spread the leek rings evenly over the pastry base.
- 7. Pour the cream cheese and egg mixture over the leeks.
- 8. Drape the anchovy fillets in a cross pattern over the surface and sprinkle the grated cheese over it.
- 9. Bake the tart for 35 minutes until the filling is set and golden brown.
- 10. Let the tart cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing from the pan and serving.
