🧀 Savory Cheese Strudel with Thyme and Honey

Ingredients
- 500 g Puff pastry (from the freezer section)
- 150 g Gorgonzola (or blue cheese)
- 200 g Cream cheese (spreadable type)
- 3 Stk. Eggs
- 1 Bund Thyme (fresh)
- 2 EL Honey
- 50 g Walnuts (roasted)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (top and bottom heat).
- 2. Divide the puff pastry according to package instructions so it fits a 26 cm springform pan. Poke the bottom several times with a fork to prevent it from rising.
- 3. Crumble the Gorgonzola in a bowl and mix it with the cream cheese.
- 4. Whisk the eggs and stir them into the cheese mixture.
- 5. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems and fold them in.
- 6. Pour the mixture into the pastry pan and sprinkle the walnuts on top.
- 7. Bake the tart for approx. 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- 8. Serve the tart drizzled with honey while warm.
