Ingredients
- 500 g Duck Breast Fillet
- 500 g Potatoes
- 200 g Parsnips
- 1 große Onions
- 200 ml Heavy Cream
- 100 ml Chicken Broth
- 1 EL Sugar
- 1/2 TL Salt
- 1/2 TL Pepper
- 20 g Butter
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and parsnips and cut them into uniform cubes.
- 3. Cut the duck breast into small cubes.
- 4. Sear the duck cubes in a dry pan until brown. Remove them from the pan.
- 5. Sauté the onions and vegetables in the pan with butter. Add sugar to encourage caramelization.
- 6. Mix the cream with the broth, salt, and pepper.
- 7. Place the vegetables and duck cubes in a baking dish. Pour the cream broth over them.
- 8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- 9. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes without covering until the surface slightly sets.
