🥘 Zucchini Gratin with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 4 Stück Zucchini
- 150 g Sun-dried tomatoes (in oil)
- 200 g Feta cheese
- 1 TL Sugar
- 4 Stück Fresh thyme sprigs
- 20 g Butter
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1 Prise Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat. Grease a baking dish with butter.
- 2. Wash the zucchini and slice them into 5 mm thick rounds.
- 3. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into thin strips. Roughly crumble the feta cheese with a fork.
- 4. Place a layer of zucchini rounds in the baking dish. Distribute chopped thyme leaves, tomato strips, and some feta on top. Repeat the layers until the vegetables are used up.
- 5. Sprinkle sugar and the remaining melted butter over the top layer. Season with salt and pepper.
- 6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake the gratin for 25 minutes.
- 7. Remove the foil and bake the dish for another 15 minutes until the zucchini is tender and the surface is lightly browned.
- 8. Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- 9. Serve the gratin as a main course or side dish.
