  1. 1. Soak the breadcrumbs in the milk. Squeeze out the milk and mix it in a bowl with the ground meat, egg yolk, and chopped garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Form 16 equal-sized meatballs from the mixture (approx. 40g each).
  3. 3. Heat the olive oil in a large pot. Brown the meatballs over medium heat for approx. 5 minutes. Remove them from the pot and place them on a plate.
  4. 4. Add the tomato paste to the pot and stir for 1 minute. Then add the crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Stir well.
  5. 5. Sprinkle the paprika powder over the sauce. Place the meatballs back into the pot. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce heat and let the albóndigas simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. 6. Serve the meatballs hot with rice or bread.
