🍰 Chocolate Chestnut Cake with Marzipan

Ingredients
- 150 g butter
- 120 g brown sugar
- 4 eggs (size M)
- 40 g cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 100 g ground almonds
- 200 g chestnut puree (canned)
- 100 g marzipan raw mass
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) conventional heat. Grease a 9-inch (24 cm) springform pan and dust with cocoa.
- 2. Melt the butter in a pot over low heat. Remove the pot from the stove and let it cool slightly.
- 3. Whisk the butter with the brown sugar and eggs in a large bowl until the mixture is creamy.
- 4. Fold in the cocoa, ground almonds, and chestnut puree. Stir gently until everything is evenly mixed.
- 5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Roll the marzipan mass into a log and place it on top of the batter.
- 6. Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan.
