🥪 Ham and Brie Toast with Herb Cottage Cheese

Ingredients
- 8 Scheiben (ca. 240 g) Rye bread
- 150 g Brie cheese (80% fat in dry matter)
- 120 g Ham
- 20 g Butter
- 200 g Quark (low fat)
- 10 g Fresh parsley
- 20 g Mustard (medium hot)
- 3 g Salt
- 2 g Black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the parsley and chop it finely.
- 2. Mix the quark with the parsley, mustard, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- 3. Cut the Brie into 8 equal slices.
- 4. Cut the ham into 8 equal rectangles.
- 5. Cut the butter into 8 small pieces.
- 6. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- 7. Place the unbuttered side of a bread slice on the plate. Spread the herb quark on it.
- 8. Place a slice of Brie and a piece of ham on top.
- 9. Place a piece of butter on top of the stack.
- 10. Cover with the other bread slice (buttered side facing up).
- 11. Fry the toast in a hot pan without fat until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- 12. Cut the toasts in half and serve immediately.
