  1. 1. Wash the parsley and chop it finely.
  2. 2. Mix the quark with the parsley, mustard, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. 3. Cut the Brie into 8 equal slices.
  4. 4. Cut the ham into 8 equal rectangles.
  5. 5. Cut the butter into 8 small pieces.
  6. 6. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  7. 7. Place the unbuttered side of a bread slice on the plate. Spread the herb quark on it.
  8. 8. Place a slice of Brie and a piece of ham on top.
  9. 9. Place a piece of butter on top of the stack.
  10. 10. Cover with the other bread slice (buttered side facing up).
  11. 11. Fry the toast in a hot pan without fat until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  12. 12. Cut the toasts in half and serve immediately.
