Ingredients
- 200 g Salmon fillet
- 50 g Butter
- 2 EL Lemon juice
- 1 TL Lemon zest
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 EL, gehackt Parsley
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop the garlic clove. Tip: This prevents it from burning at high heat.
- 2. Pat the 200 g salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Never rinse it, or it will become mushy.
- 3. Cut the salmon into 2 equal fillets. This ensures they cook evenly.
- 4. Finely chop the parsley. Set aside 2 tablespoons for the sauce.
- 5. Melt the 50 g butter in a small saucepan. Stir until it is liquid.
- 6. Add the finely chopped garlic to the butter. Sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- 7. Remove the saucepan from the heat. This stops the garlic from cooking further.
- 8. Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice into the butter. Use 2 tablespoons of juice.
- 9. Stir in the 2 tablespoons parsley, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper. Mix well.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. Preheating is important for crispy edges.
- 11. Place the salmon fillets in the basket. Pour half of the butter-lemon mixture over them.
- 12. Cook the salmon for 8 minutes at 180 °C, until golden brown.
- 13. Remove the basket. Pour the remaining butter-lemon mixture over the salmon.
- 14. Cook the salmon for another 2 minutes at 180 °C. This allows the flavour to absorb.
- 15. Let the salmon rest in the basket for 2 minutes. This redistributes the juices evenly.
- 16. Serve the salmon immediately. It’s perfect when it flakes easily with a fork.
