  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the strawberries and remove the green tops. Cut them into quarters.
  2. 2. Wash the arugula and dry it thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Toast the walnuts in a dry pan over medium heat for 3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. 4. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper to make a dressing.
  5. 5. Place the arugula on a large platter. Distribute the strawberries and walnuts on top.
  6. 6. Crumble the fresh goat cheese by hand into small pieces over the salad.
  7. 7. Pour the dressing evenly over the salad and serve immediately.
