🥗 Autumn Fig and Goat Cheese Salad

Ingredients
- 150 g Mixed salad greens (e.g., arugula and lamb's lettuce)
- 4 Stk Figs (ripe but firm)
- 100 g Fresh goat cheese
- 30 g Walnuts (unroasted)
- 20 ml Olive oil
- 10 g Honey
- 10 ml Vinegar (e.g., balsamic or apple cider vinegar)
- 1 g Salt
- 1 g Black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the mixed salad greens thoroughly and dry them well with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Wash the figs, remove the stem, and cut them into quarters.
- 3. Roast the walnuts in a dry pan over medium heat for about 3 minutes until fragrant. Let them cool and crumble them roughly.
- 4. Whisk together the olive oil, honey, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to make a dressing.
- 5. Mound the mixed salad greens onto plates. Distribute the fig quarters and small pieces of goat cheese on top.
- 6. Carefully remove the goat cheese from the netting (for instant cheese) and crumble it.
- 7. Drizzle the dressing over the salad, sprinkle with walnuts, and serve immediately.
