  1. 1. Wash the broccoli and divide it into small florets. Wash the carrots and celery stalks.
  2. 2. Dice the onion, carrots, and celery into fine cubes.
  3. 3. Mince the garlic finely.
  4. 4. Heat the olive oil in a pot and sauté the diced vegetable mix (Mirepoix) for 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the garlic, tomato paste, and chili flakes and stir for 1 minute.
  6. 6. Add the broccoli and broth. Let everything simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Add the drained white beans and sage leaves and cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Mash part of the beans in the pot with a spoon to thicken the sauce.
  9. 9. Season with salt and serve the dish warm.
