🍲 Simple Rustic Pot-au-Feu with Sausage and Root Vegetables

Ingredients
- 400 g Beef chuck (with bone, diced)
- 200 g Frankfurter sausages (thick slices)
- 200 g Carrots (cut into batons)
- 100 g Celery (diced)
- 150 g Leek (cleaned and ringed)
- 300 g Potatoes (large diced)
- 1 Liter Water
- 1 Stück Bouquet Garni (thyme, bay leaf, parsley)
- nach Bedarf Salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Place the beef and bouquet garni in a large pot and cover with water.
- 2. Bring water to boil, skim off rising foam, then simmer on low heat for 40 minutes.
- 3. Add carrots, celery, and leek, then cook for another 15 minutes.
- 4. Add potatoes and sausage slices, then cook for 10 minutes until everything is tender.
- 5. Season with salt and pepper, and serve vegetables and meat separately from the broth.
