🍗 Rustic Chicken Potato Gratin with Rosemary

Ingredients
- 600 g Chicken breast fillet
- 800 g Potatoes (waxy)
- 2 Stück Onions
- 3 Stück Garlic cloves
- 200 ml Chicken broth
- 200 ml Heavy cream (30% fat)
- 100 g Emmental cheese (grated)
- 2 Zweige Rosemary (fresh)
- 2 EL Olive oil
- 1 TL Salt
- 0.5 TL Pepper (black, ground)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and season with salt and pepper.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
- 3. Heat the olive oil in a pan and brown the chicken cubes. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
- 4. Sauté the onions and garlic in the same pan until soft. Add the chicken cubes back in.
- 5. In a bowl, mix the chicken broth, cream, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- 6. Place a layer of potato slices in a greased baking dish. Spread the chicken-onion mixture on top. Repeat the layers.
- 7. Pour the cream-broth mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.
- 8. Bake the gratin for 40 minutes in the oven until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbling.
