  1. 1. Wash the potatoes and carrots and cut them into rough chunks. Dice the onion.
  2. 2. Rub the chicken drumsticks with oil, salt, and pepper. Fry them in a large frying pan until golden brown on all sides (approx. 3 minutes per side). Remove them and set aside.
  3. 3. Add the onions, carrots, and potatoes to the frying pan. Fry the vegetables for 5 minutes to give them some color.
  4. 4. Deglaze the vegetables with the white wine. Let the alcohol evaporate for 2 minutes. Add the chicken broth and rosemary sprigs.
  5. 5. Place the browned chicken drumsticks back into the pan. Cover the pan. Let the dish simmer over low heat for 25 minutes until the potatoes and chicken are cooked through.
  6. 6. Remove the rosemary sprigs. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve the chicken with the vegetables and sauce directly from the pan.
