  1. 1. Wash the cauliflower and separate it into small florets. Dice the onions, carrots, and garlic finely.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a large pot. Sauté the onions, carrots, and garlic for 4 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the cauliflower florets and the paprika powder and stir for 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Pour in the tomatoes and the vegetable broth. Let everything simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat until the cauliflower is soft.
  5. 5. Add the drained chickpeas and simmer them for another 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Puree the soup with an immersion blender until smooth. Stir in the lemon juice.
  7. 7. Serve the soup warm in deep bowls.
