  3. 3. Finely chop the onion and mix it with the potatoes (optional).
  4. 4. Heat the butter in a pan and add the potato mixture.
  5. 5. Fry over medium heat for about 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. 6. Flip and fry the other side as well.
  7. 7. Season with salt and pepper, serve.
